We decided to visit despite seeing poor reviews; it looked fresh & airy from the outside on a hot Australia Day morning. We waited to be greeted/given menus etc. There were more staff on than customers & yet they didnt come near us. We got our own menus...presumed maybe we needed to order at the counter but was told no, someone will come. Waiting! Nobody came. So we left. But alls well that ends well, we went to the Footbridge up the street which was super duper delicious (awesome vegan options).
I absolutely love this new addition the the Brunswick Heads community. Great coffee and I appreciate the point of difference the menu offers. I had the grilled mushroom with pearl barley. Creamy and reminded me of france! I'm surprised to see the 1 star ratings... I guess its still early days for this new cafe/ restaurant so I expect a few teething problems.
waited half an hour for coffees and an hour for breakfasts which were delivered to our table of 9 about 20 minutes apart so half the table was finished before the other meals arrived, most orders were stuffed up. Wouldnt recommend. Pretty shocking service really.
Ive eaten here a number of times now, despite it only recently opening. The food is always excellent, great location and great service. Highly recommended!
Definitely the best coffee in Bruns. Using Wilde by 7 Mile coffee. I went for breakfast a few times and tried a number of delicious options. I went back for dinner and loved the prawns and especially the yellow capsicum tomatoes from Boon Luck farm. Ill definitely be back.
